Hi,
 
These were berries that were growing on the roadside. Any help in its identification would be appreciated.
 
Date/Time- June 12, 2011
Location- Salt Lake, Kolkata, West Bengal
Habitat- Urban
Plant Habit- Shrub
Height -Around 2-3 ft.
Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- Green
Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- Did not see any flowers. The berries are orange and small (around 1 cm in diameter)

I know this by Duranta erecta.

Pankaj..are Duranta erecta and Duranta repens synonymous ??

Yes, Duranta erecta of Verbenaceae family.
