Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb- a very common erect herb in opens forest & grasslands

Height/Length- 1m

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size-ovate

Inflorescence Type/ Size-

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts-not observed

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-pods brown densely joined like

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.-

Synonyms: Hedysarum heterocarpon L. Sp. Pl. 747, 1753. Desmodium
polycarpon (Poir.) DC. Prodr. 2: 334, 1825; Baker in Hook.f., Fl.
Brit. India 2: 171, 1879; Cooke, Fl. Pres. Bombay 1: 171, 1958
(Repr.).
observed in Aarey colony , Mumbai. also at Tungareshwar and Karna Bird
sanctuary.
