Dear Friends,
This is a tree from Manali. Leaves have saw toothed margins.
 
Date/Time: 26-09-2010 / 08:10AM
Location: Manali Town (in Van vihar)
Height: Tree was approx. 10 to 12 m in height

Castanea sativa : A Chestnut tree.
It is a tree which belongs to family Fagaceae(Beech family) which includes trees such as Beeches, Chestnuts,Oaks. The flowers are unisexual and in catkins.
So this might be female flower.
