Performance Issue with IE in Selenium

Hi,

We are facing performance issue with selenium test execution in IE
browser. The same script works fine and quite fast in Firefox. We are
not using xPath anywhere and also the application is not using AJAX.
Any ideas? Ddid anyone face the similar problem?

Hey,

1. can you provide the selenium script that you are using?
2. Can you give a rough idea of how fast/slow is it?
3. Are you using IE6 or IE7?

Hello Manish,

I have sent the script to you through e-mail since it is a very large
piece of code.

For questions #2 & #3:
#2:It's about 40% slower than Mozilla
#3:We are using IE 7.0

Ok. Please let me know what kind of data you need so that I can try
and provide as much information as possible.
Are you looking for machine configuration/hardware details?

If you had a chance to review the scripts that I sent, was the code as
per the standards?
