This year, I would like to go to:
1. Adi Kailash and Om Parvat in Kumaon
2. Kailash Manimahesh in Chamba, Himachal
3.  Panch Kedar in Garhwal, where I have been already.
The list is endless, but these for starters!

Trekking in Nepal is relatively easier. The Annapurna region, trekking
is very organised. Have you done a fair deal of trekking?

Satopanth Tal is a tough one, but I understand it is spectacular.
There are a couple of articles on the site, related to that particular
trek:

Dear Editor
The Kailash Manimahesh trek is a good one and it is possiblt to do this in
the months of May and June. Himachal Pradesh is till experiencing snow
conditions as of today. As the Manimahesh lake is at a high altitude it
should be open by mid April and the trail will have snow on it but can be
trekked.
Regarding the other two treks, please not that I am at the moment only
arranging treks in Himachal Pradesh.
best wishes

arjun

Thank you, Arjun. There have been late and relatively heavy snowfalls
this year in the Himalayas. I understand that the Manimahesh fair
after Janmashthami (aug) is a good time to visit. Of course the usual
rule of May/June and oct also apply.

Are you a tour/trek operator?

Dear Editor

I am not a trek operator but a free lance travel writer who has been
interacting and at time working for some of the leading adventure tour
operators in Manali - Kullu valley for the past two decades. You are always
free to email me for any information you require on the state of Himachal
Pradesh.
Best wishes.

Dear Santosh.
To travel to Shimla and then to Vaishno Devi the best way is to come to
Delhi first and from there you can choose a deluxe bus to Simla plying every
day (there are about 4 or 5). You can also take a train from Delhi - the
Kalka mail to Kalka and from there take the Himalayan Queen (toy train) to
Shimla. To get to Vishno Devi you get frequent buses to Ambala near
Chandigarh from where you can catch a train to Jammu and from there take
local transport (buses/taxis) easily available.

Bestwishes
