hi,
India is celebrating National Postal Week 2009 from October 9 to
October 15, 2009. The theme this year is "A Postal Service Committed
to Green Growth" looking at the carbon footprint generated by the
Indian Postal Services with week long series of competitions, lectures
and workshops on philately etc.
As part of the effort, I took a glance through the places that I know
of to ensure that the maps contained information on the Post Offices
in my locality. I found for example that the Tilak Nagar Post Office
was missing from the Maps and have added the same. There may be many
more post offices or postal counters around which I don't know about
and urge everyone to help add your post office to Google Maps.
