Yellow Background

I've just discovered Incursion and have to say that in my opinion, it
is one of the most incredible games ever created. The level of
complexity is just mind boggling and what I've always looked for in a
game.

That said, I'm having some problems with the game that are seriously
hampering my enjoyment and ability to play. Namely, it's very
difficult to see what's going on. The windowed mode is far too small
and playing for any amount of time like that gives me a headache.

Fortunately there are options for a larger fullscreen mode!

Unfortunately entering fullscreen turns the entire background from
black to a sickly yellow/orange colour which again makes text very
difficult to see and results in a headache.

I've looked through the FAQ and Wiki and even the Flyspray and can't
seem to find any information on this. Does anyone know what is going
on and any way to fix it other than buying a new computer?

I can confirm the yellow/orange background phenomenon when going fullscreen in Windows 7, so at least it's not an issue that's unique to you.

Best bet would probably be to wait for the new Incursion to come out, I don't think this version of Incursion is going to receive anymore updates.

In the mean time, have you tried upping the windows mode's resolution
and/or font size? That should make things a bit bigger. The options
for it are under Output Options, near the bottom of the list. Not sure
if pinging the softer palette colors too will make a difference or
not, but it could be worth a try.
