Hi,

I was experimenting with downloading iNat data to ArcGIS and noticed
that the projection doesn't automatically assign, so the only way to
get it to project properly is to download the files to KML and convert
them in ARC. This seems inefficient, and apparently if I set the
projection of the data it can be imported from CSV, but I need to
determine the projecion from you guys to do that properly.

It may be already listed somewhere on the website, but I looked and
didn't see it. If so, sorry about the redundant question!

Our coordinates are actually stored as *unprojected* coordinates
(often listed as a "geographic" projection in Arc products, or at
least they were years ago when I used them), and that's how they're
listed in CSV and KML output. Since we use Google products so much we
assume all coordinates are based on the WGS84 datum, which is the
datum that Google uses. That should be enough spatial reference info
for Arc.
