I love the feature where you can subscribe to a species or group of species in a place.  However, I am wondering if it is possible to subscribe to multiple species in the same place, or to subscribe to a non-taxonomic group of species (for instance, "all species in Vermont that are invasive".

The queries for these things work great, so a subscription feature is not essential, but I did have a co-worker ask about it so I thought it was worth checking in case there was a hidden way to do it.

Thanks!

This question came up recently for me as well as we were looking at capturing invasive plant data from iNat to load into iMapInvasives.  Of course, this would be best served via a project based on invasive a for our region, but it would be nice to have a way to highlight observations to invite.

A project makes sense in a lot of context but I think people in Vermont are getting project weary as there are already several nested projects here and it's a pain to add the observations to all of them.  It's a good thing that there are TOO MANY projects, but I'm not sure it's realistic to get people to join all of them :)

I agree that you should be able to subscribe to multiple taxa in a
place, and that it would be good to condition those subscriptions with
parameters like conservation status. Semi-complicated task, though,
and pretty low on my list of priorities.

Yeah, understandable but thanks for the response!  I don't usually have a good feel for the relative difficulty/complexity of that sort of task.
