Deleting from iNaturalist iPhone app removes observations from projects

I think I have narrowed a problem I have been having down to this: When I delete observations from my iNaturalist iPhone app, they are removed, or uninvited, from projects. This has happened repeatedly with the Vermont Atlas of Life and I just noticed also happened with ASC roadkill observations.

Is this just me, or is there a bug, or what is going on?

Interesting.  I have not noticed this, and I have to delete my observations often, because my copious observations fill up my phone fast.  but, that doesn't mean it does not happen for you.  I'll keep an eye on that.
