Hello guys,

we have a nice user's address management system, permitting to deal
with many different shipping addresses when ordering.

But we don't have any access to these addresses from admin side :-/

Phil.

Hi Phil, sorry for the delay. I've been working on 5.2.0 release.

It actually will be pretty easy to add such functionality, since we already got "unit", linked to each user and a table in database.

We only need to create appropriate template, that In-Commerce will dynamically (via hook) add to user editing form (same way it does with Site Domains editing page).

I expect it will take no more then 1 hour to implement and could be even scheduled to 5.2.2 release, when approved.

Hi Alex,

thank to be back on this, and cool to know it's not a big deal. I forgot to say we have the same problem with In-Bulletin, could we have, via hook, a special tab to manage bb fields?

You don't have any address management in in-bulletin. You also could edit any field from topic in admin console.

As said in the post, I talk about "bb fields", such as signature, nickname, and so on...

That fields are actually stored in PersistantSessionData table along with grid configuration parameters (e.g. column order, current filter, current sorting).

but they can't be reviewed/modified/deleted via user's record edition. Is it a standard behavior to protect user's privcay?

No, they have very stupid implementation and that's why they are not editable in admin.

Hi Guys,

I say we do 1 thing at a time so we address "Users Address Management"
in one task and other review and discuss all other fields related to
the User in a different task/discussion (I think there is more then BB
fields) since in any case they are 2 different parts (even the
Interfaces)
