question 1 - does 51x branch includes automatically all patches
allready included in 50x branch ? In other words, if I use 51x, will
it be always the most up2date?
question 2 - what is the best place to download 503bx ?
thanks!

Everything on theses pages are clear, and there different kind of
people into Inportal community:
1 - developpers (web agency, freelance coders...)
2 - designers (who can be able to transform they own design into powerfull CMS)
3 - website owners (who generally knows a bit of HTML and sometime,
very rarely, a bit of CSS)
On the page research-development.html
All info are presented in a logical process, but they mix general
content information (Releases Life-Cycle, discussion and
communication), along with very specific info (versionning, patching)
that will be understoud only by the first type of users as I listed.
In other word, the content of the page is very interesting for
developpers, somewhat interesting for designers, and not very
interesting for website owners. But as per my experience, people who
are able to give a real feedback on usability and bugs are these end
users, that's why I discussed about another way to let them easily
download beta release (please look around, all other open source
software are proposing beta and RC as direct, complete download).
The page about code repository is clearly for first category of users,
and thus I have nothing to say, it's perfect.
I give you all this opinion as I'm a 3rd category user who jumped to
1st one, and I'm actually doing a partnership with a designer, in a
goal of selling websites, that's why I permit myself to talk for each
of them.
Why not posting a poll, on these pages? I'm exactly as old as Jesus,
but I could mistake sometime :-)
Waiting to read your opinions.
Phil.
