Visitor Tracking & Affiliate Commissions via Google Analytics

It's easy to track page visits using Google Analytics right now - just add javascript code provided by Google Analytics to Tracking Code field in In-Portal configuration.

However when it comes to displaying affiliate earnings and affiliate specific visits In-Portal doesn't have any way to tell that information to Google Analytics.

I've found article http://code.google.com/apis/analytics/docs/tracking/gaTrackingCustomVariables.html , where it's described how to add custom variables to be tracked with each user visit (e.g. Affiliate ID/Code and Affiliate Commission).

Then custom reports could be easily generated from Google Analytics panel.

There is a problem with completely replacing the current solution - you can't 100% rely on Google since there some things can go Wrong (it's only JS integration) and your Affiliates will be losing money.

Unfortunately, for now Google Analytics can be used purely for Information, but not the Accounting purposes!

it's true that accounting is a serious thing. but having an optional feature to see more about visits via Google Analytics could be great!
