1 - same issue with selectors. we have discussed it in 2 separate discussions already, not this one please.

2 - please provide your section structure + what sections are shortcuts to other sections and show where you are clicking. Same as I did in picture with shortcut problem.

- click on "new section", type a name, click on "Points to Section" icon, select a section and validate it: the new section form have been reset (this only happens on new sections, when they are already created the problem doesn't occurs)

- when you have defined a shorcut for a section, navigate somewhere else in admin, ex. displaying community page, and then clic in left menu on the section with shortcut : first clic will display in right pane the shorcut place, a second clic on the section will display the inner section itself

1 - sorry I didn't remembered this discussion, and I can't find it, but ok.

2 - on a new install, I don't touch anything, I don't use any particular content, and I don't rename any section. I've done the test as described. Sorry again I didn't found your post with image, while I remember about it :S
