Newsletter Subscribe Impossible IE8

Hi guys,

tested here:
http://demo.in-portal.com/advanced/index.html

- using IE8 (on w7, but this have no effect on result, tested wrong on older OS under IE too)
- enter an email to register for newsletter on sidebox
- on next page (platform/mailing_list/subscribe.html) page, when you clic on "yes", redirection doesn't work, you stay on same page
- clic on "No" is working

Also reproduced on my other websites.

There is 5.0.4 version on Demo. Yes, I can replicate there.

I've tested, that on newly released 5.1.1 version it is working. It's possible, that it works on 5.1.0 too, but I can't recall any particular task, where such problem was fixed.

If upgrading is an option for you, then please do so. If it's not, then I'll look into code of 5.0.4 version to detect what in 5.1.1 accidentally solved that problem.

Attaching the patch that fixes the problem.

NOTE: Confirmed on In-Portal 5.1.1 and actually the issue is everywhere no matter if it's IE or FF so I have adjusted the task name accordingly.

The problem was that Password fields were made required in ObeforeItemCreate method while they shouldn't when a GUEST user tries to subscribe.

Subscribing works. That cool. However after this patch is applied users can register without entering their password (when it's required).
