Hello guys,

just a note, when trying to intall v510-B2 on wamp.
Once install is complete, and I click to access admin, I have :

Fatal Error: Configuration file for prefix m is unknown in
C:\Users\Vostro\Documents\#web\www\v5\core\kernel\utility\unit_config_reader.php
on line 839

I said "note" as wamp is not the main target of the soft :)

Phil.

Is seems, that last thing you were doing before upgrade was saving changes in one of configuration sections in administrative console.

If so, then wamp isn't the source of the problem. Configuration saving system is.

I've done the install on an empty DB and empty folder, and I've tried 2 times before submitting the post. I can do more tests this week if you want, may my WAMP server is particular...

You were right, I really can reproduce that on wamp, but I've used Denwer script for that.

Here is the task: http://tracker.in-portal.org/view.php?id=768

You can test it on wamp. Also please test, that LAMP installation isn't broken.

Thanks guys.

Fix is committed into 5.1.0-RC1.

Hello,

patch worked on my WAMP, but I have the following problems :

- products folder appears twice on demo theme and in structure when you install in-commerce (we have discussed this before, it's not really a bug, but may standard demo content could have a folder called in another name than "Products" to avoid this

- on front, all modules tab are leading to Fatal Error: Cannot include "#((module_name))/section_design#" - file does not exist in C:\Users\Vostro\Documents\#web\www\v5\core\kernel\nparser\nparser.php on line 392

- I had another fatal error on first clic after install on '"structure and data" but I'm not able to reproduce it.

Also tested install on WAMP and LAMP from scratch, works fine.

About: - on front, all modules tab are leading to Fatal Error: Cannot include "#((module_name))/section_design#

What theme you were installing (+ install demo data checkbox was used I assume) and what there you are viewing, when you got following error.

I have problem above, when I've installed all module (including In-Commerce) + Default theme + demo data.
As you can notice "Default" theme doesn't have in-commerce sub-folder, so it doesn't know what #in-commerce/section_design# means, when you click on "Products" in menu.
If so, then it's not a bug, since we already discussed, that "Default" theme only works correctly, when no modules are installed.

I'm ok about #module_name# error, we already discussed it, but I
imagine a standard user, just downloading and testing the system.

I was using only demo theme.

I've non-working right pane (no items listed) in admin using the
patched version both on lamp and wamp, could you confirm me you have
the same?

You say, that you are using demo theme. What modules you have installed?

I maybe repeating myself, but "Default" theme (you call it demo), will only work with In-Portal and NONE modules installed. Since there is not limit on installed module count, then each theme won't be adding any workarounds to work with all of them.

Error, you are seeing is pretty straightforward, since it tells "<module_name>" word in it, when used in "default" theme. This supposed to mean, that <module_name> isn't supposed to work with given theme.

allright, sorry for signaling it twice.

what about your patch, do you have the same problem as I described here?
