We have been receiving reports from customers that their credit cards are being charged for orders in which Google cancels due to considering the transaction fraudulent. Because Google cancels these orders, we do not receive a postback and cannot credit the account. Therefore, customers are being charged but not receiving what they paid for.
Is this to be expected, and will the credit card be automatically refunded at a certain point in time? If so, what is the typical window of time in which the refund will happen? My expectation was that orders cancelled by Google would never show up on someone's credit card.
