Subject: The WHYS and WHATS of Woes

The Whys and Whats of Woes

In everyone's life is strife of one kind or another. Some have
difficult relatives, others have cranky neighbors and some have wars
and battles. It never is a smooth ride, we never are trouble free so
what can you do?

I give you this little piece of advice. Whenever there is trouble
rather small as a disagreement or large as a war to the death, pick
your battles wisely. Not every trouble needs to be solved, not every
battle needs to be fought. Look carefully at the difficulty, the
options for cure, and weigh the outcome rather fought or not.
Sometimes to ignore is good, other times to ignore is tragic.

Pick your battles, for all of them will not be won. If you are
fortunate, you will win more than you loose.

Know who or what you battle. You cannot defeat what you do not know.
You can fight it but you cannot defeat it. Many times a draw is not
acceptable.

Know who your friends are. These who would help you fight the good
fight must have your conviction, must have your will to win, must have
your success in thier hearts and minds if not, fight alone.

Never forget who you are. Do not become something you are not, just to
make a point or fight a fight, or win a war. You will loose the point,
the fight and the war.

Rejoice quietly in your successes. The fight was yours alone in
choice, have comfort in a battle fought and won.

When you loose, learn. There is much to be gained from a lost argument
and total defeat. Look at why you fought, look at who you fought, look
at how you fought and never repeat the mistates that were made.

Blessed Be to the battles and wars in our lives for they teach us
much, they define who we are, they bring us success  and give us PEACE
when the battles end.

Blessed Be the warriors who defend rightiously
