This group is an open forum for feedback and discussion on the recommendation being produced by DLF's ILS Discovery Interface Task Force. This group was convened by DLF in summer 2007 and charged with analyzing the issues involved in integrating "integrated library systems" and discovery systems and creating a technical proposal for how such integration should be accomplished. Work began with a survey of needs and current practices in the community in fall 2007. The most recent draft of the recommendation was produced in February 2008, and will undergo revision based on feedback from library and vendor communities. A final draft is available for download from the group's wiki as of 4/24/08 ( pdf | word ).

This group serves as an open forum for feedback about the draft. Anyone is welcome become part of the conversation by posting comments or actually joining the list to monitor all incoming feedback and ensuing dialogue.
