Using an
Android smartphone? Beware of these top 10 threats
Ahead of Mobile World
Congress, F-Secure has released its list of Top 10 Android Threats from the
past year. It has also revealed a new threat that we must watch out for in
2016.
Why this should concern us is
because according to a report, India has the most malware infected Android
smartphone. A report by Trend Micro also revealed that there are over 35%
devices affected by a malicious malware capable of rooting Android devices.
Now, we have a new list by
F-Secure lab that sheds light on the how the attackers have been taking aim at
users of the open source OS. As the tech world prepares to converge on Mobile
World Congress(MWC) 2016, the list is a stark reminder of the need for security
for all things connected.
