Error with ILO 256MB mp3 player.

I often seem to get the following error when I add/remove files from
my ILO 256MB mp3 player:
Error: 1328
Line: 695
It happens when I first turn on the player after changing the files.
The player seems to search the index and then the error pops up on the

I'm still using it, but the "left channel goes dead problem" returned
and I have to keep twisting and turning the phone jack until it works.
Other than that, it's still working great. I like it very much!
The only down side is that 256 Mb is too little space nowadays... (Sd

SD Card and seeing song on it

I have an MP-556 (1GB Flash) that has a 2GB San Disk SD Card in it.
If I hook up the mp3 player to my computer thru windows explorer I can
see that I have 396 songs on the card. However, when I turn it on and
look to see how many songs I have on the card it says 130! Why is

I need a copy of the latest ilo 256's firmware. I will host it on a
Google Page if someone will send it to me. Can anyone help. Version
1.0 is horrible. I would also need the firmware update software, so if
somebody wants to send it to me, I could help others who still own

Hello! Anybody there??? I got my ILO256 in July 2005 and it's still working!! The left channel went dead 6 months ago. I can NOT figure out how to get my ILO 1G 'Orange' to resume an mp3 player from any location other than the beginning when I shut it off and turn it back on.
