Mike,
My iLo no longer works (long story) but I'm also the list owner so since no
one else is responding, I guess I'm it unless somebody more knowledgeable
steps forward.
First, I highly doubt that Lenoxx manufactured the unit. iLo is basically a
brand of Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart then finds someone else to supply them their
MP3 player and rebrand it with the iLo nameplate. Govideo and then Siren
have been two of the manufactures of iLo products in the past.
I downloaded the manual and looking at the manual versus some of the screen
shots of the Siren web page
<http://www.sirenplayer.com/products/mp3_5.html>versus the manual I
would definitely say that they are entirely two
different models. To be honest the Siren LCD screen looks superior to the
the iLo model from the Lenoxx manual.
I have a sneaky suspicion that Lenoxx imported the model from China rather
than making it themselves. However, I can't confirm that.
I did a reverse phone number
directory<http://www.reversephonedirectory.com/whitepages/address/index.html?qa...>for
the address listed in the manual and found the following entry:
M Weising
35 BRUNSWICK AVE
MONROE TOWNSHIP, NJ 08831
(732) 251-7167
Now before you bother that person did you notice that on the contact detail
that Lenoxx is not listed but something called Evergo Corp. I did a search
on that company and I found a listing
here<http://wnjpin1.dol.state.nj.us/wnjpinsearch_ru/employer_details.htm?c...>
:
EVERGO CORP - CARTERET
Address:
2 GERMAK DR
CARTERET , NJ 07008 *
*Contact: Not Reported
Phone: (732) 541-8300
Fax: (NA ) - *
*Did you also try the email address Eve...@att.net that was listed on the
contacts page?
Another idea would be to go through dapreview.net, and looking manually
through past web pages to see something from South Korea or China that
physically resembles it.
However, I suspect that you will not find good support for it. I'll move
onto your other email.
