There's still time to sign up for Fall Bridge Weekend. This year's
workshops will focus on how to get the most out of the popular
2-over-1 bidding system and adapt it to your partnership's
style. The lessons will include an overview of the basics for system
newcomers and discussions of expert-level agreements for experienced players.
The $75 registration fee includes:
6+ hours of lessons and workshops on Saturday and Sunday mornings
Printed lesson materials
2-over-1 System Workbook
Entry fees for three silver-point duplicate games (Friday night
individual, Saturday and Sunday afternoon sessions)
Discussion of hands after the games
Game hand records
Saturday snacks
Sunday breakfast and lunch
You can also sign up for Saturday only ($40) or Sunday only (new
price: $45). One-day registrations will include the lesson materials
from both days.
We currently have 22 people who have confirmed reservations, with
most registrations coming from out-of-town players. It's important
to have the support of local players for these lessons, so I hope you
can join us.
We may need a standby partner for the workshop and game on one or
both days. If you're available, let me know.

PS -- If you can't attend the workshops but want to play in the STAC
silver-point game on Saturday and/or Sunday afternoons, contact me to
reserve your place. A limited number of seats are available. Entry
fee is $5.
