BRIDGE PREDICTION STUDY
=======================
Congratulations to Eldred Holm and Dee Boch, winners of free entries
for the most accurate guesses over the past two weeks in the Bridge
Prediction Study being conducted by Dan Simons and the University of
Illinois. Eldred guessed her score within .07% on Thursday afternoon
7/30/09 and Dee was off by .41% on Tuesday afternoon 7/21/09.
Dan is also giving an overall prize of a free entry to the player who
made the most consistently accurate predictions so far. Of the 48
people who made at least five predictions, Bev Upp was the best
guesser, with an average estimate within 2.588% of her actual scores.
THANK YOU to everyone who has been participating in Dan's study. He
will be asking us to fill out a short follow-up questionnaire, and I
hope you'll all take the time to help him out.
