Data Communications Technician - 2 Openings Available! - Provide technical assistance to subscribers for network recovery pre-test, first test, scheduled test, and post-test follow-up work. Provide accountability and responsibility as the primary network support engineer contact for subscribers as assigned by dept manager Document network test status, monthly test activity summaries and create network diagrams. Requirements Must have working knowledge of various data communications equipment. Knowledge of modems, multiplexors, CSU/DSU'S, routers and matrix switch technology required. Knowledge of Cisco Routers, Bay networks routers, and TCP/IP protocols is desired. Experience utilizing network diagnostic test and line monitoring equipment is required. This is a wish list....
