Problem installing 3g modem

Can anybody please help me, regarding installing USB micromax MMX353G modem in linux mint.

I don't know if it works for you... but most of the time, you have to
add the device to the usbmodeswitch and then use it through wvdial.
I don't have the exact details of usbmodeswitch right now.. but its a
fairly straight forward, thanks to Google.
