Dear Pharmacites,

 

I have discussed the agenda which I have sent earlier this week with ISO representatives today. It has been agreed by ISO and updated. Please find the most recent proposal in the attachment. We will probably discuss it on our conference call on May 30th.

 

I also have ISO documents for the agenda item 8. I will send it to participants who will attend in The Hague, because I am not sure if they may be spread to everybody.

Hi Michael

For topic 13, I assume this will be a continuation of our discussions within IHE and with HL7 for example, considering supply and dispense messaging.

Allow me a small suggestion: Looking at the title, I would remove the word "automated".
This is not really relevant for the agenda, but to preempt that the scope of any dispensing work should not be depending whether it is automated or not. I think interoperability architecture should be based on the functionality provided, whether the dispensing of an item requires human intervention or is done automatically. At least that is what I think is attainable and maintainable.

The work item proposal promised earlier this year is almost finished, will send it asap.
