Hi everyone,
I'm the community liaison for Gimp Girl (http://www.gimpgirl.com), an
organization of women with disabilities.
We are celebrating our ten-year anniversary as an organization and are
trying to get together a history of ourselves.
We used to run a group for disabled female artists called bohemigimps . . .
unfortunately none of the people who were really active in that group are
with us anymore. If anyone who was active in that (or in any of our other
lists like queergirlies, queerladies, or girlies, or the Serenity MOO) but
is no longer with us is on this list and has history, memories, or art to
share (or even better, wants to join back up!), please contact me.
Also, if you think you might be interested in doing community art workshops
with us in some digital medium (especially Second Life but we can
accommodate other things), please contact me. I will put out a more
specific call about this later, but I thought I would mention it now. Come
play!
thanks,
Kathy
