Anyone can get me in touch with someone who's managing the Ignite
Youtube channel?
Here at Ignite Taipei we have a subtitling project[1] going on to
make it more accessible for a wider audience, since many people don't
have too great English listening skills here in Taiwan. There's one
talk by Scott Berkun [2] that we usually send to prospective speakers
to jumpstart their preparation. We finished a transcript for that
video and would love to send it to be used with it, and later when we
finish translating then the Chinese plus other languages as well.

Yeah, I was sure it will take a while, that's why I waited 2 weeks, let's see if there's any reply after SXSW. I'm not in a hurry, just no use sitting around.
We have one of the talks transcribed, and uploading that subtitle file for it to Youtube so it can be used with closed captioning. Will have translated version later, hope to add that too at that time.

What I propose to do is to write to all our speakers and let them know
that, if they want to get their talks out to a wider audience, they should
consider sending us a transcript of their talk. Probably the easiest way to
get this done.
It would probably be useful then to have a tag on the Igniteshow.com site
that would make identifying which are captioned and which aren't easier
(been a while since I logged in so not sure if that isn't already there).
