Assalam-u-Alaikum,

As announced earlier, ICP and IFP will jointly coordinate Zakat-Al-Maal and
Zakat-Al-Fitr distribution to address local needs.

Please pay your Zakat by Zuhr on Sunday (10/6) for local distribution. After
then, both organizations will continue to collect Zakat but it may not be
disbursed before the end of Ramadan.

How to pay your Zakat?

- Zakat checks can be made out to either ICP or IFP and placed in the
collection boxes at either masajid or handed to the respective treasurers
(Asif Khan and Rianto Rahman)

- Please write Zakat-ul-Maal and or Zakat-ul-Fitr in the memo field on the
check

- Zakat-ul-Fitr is set at $8 per person in your family (including children).
There are boxes in both masajids to collect this. We recommend giving
Zakat-ul-Fitr as cash for easier distribution.

How to apply for Zakat?

- Please fill the attached form and deposit it in the collection boxes at
either masajid or hand it to the respective treasurers (Asif Khan and Rianto
Rahman)

- We encourage people to fill a form on behalf of someone who is in need of
Zakat funds but is hesitant to apply

How will the collected Zakat be distributed?

- The community Zakat committee will meet next week to review all
applications.  The Zakat committee members are:

o       Treasurer of IFP (Br. Asif Khan)

o       Treasurer of ICP (Br. Rianto Rehman)

o       Imam at ICP (Shiekh Amr)
