No option to edit Episode ID? No import for screenwriters?

I'm trying out the beta of iFlicks (the only other tagger I've tried
is MetaX, which seems to be abandoned) and have noticed that there
doesn't seem to be an option to edit the Episode ID number in iFlicks.
Am I missing something?

I realize this is intended to be the "official" number assigned to a
show, but I use it so that I can see at a glance in iTunes if I have
all the episodes and if they're in the right order by using a 101,
102, 103, etc. system. Often that's already how they're numbered, but
a few episodes have a goofy letter/number combo that doesn't follow
along and I want to change them. I don't want to change it only in
iTunes since (if I understand correctly) that won't make a change to
the file itself, only in how iTunes sees it.

I've also noticed that while the thetvdb.com will list writers for a
show, they don't import into iFlicks. Actors do, and the director
does, but not the writers - at least that's been my experience with
tagging Gossip Girl season one.

iFlicks add the episode id if it is available on TVDB, otherwise it is automatically generated the way you are using it.

If you have imported the video file with iFlicks you can edit any field (I think) in iTunes and it will be written to the video file.

Good catch. This will be fixed in the next beta release.

Thanks for clarifying that. I wasn't sure if it wrote to the file from
iTunes or if it only kept the info stored in another spot (I don't
have 2 machines to test with).

Glad to help! I wasn't sure if that was a bug in iFlicks or a
shortcoming of the theTVdb.
