Need more info. Can you provide a rudimentary test page that generates the problem?

Thanks for the response... It occurs on this site: http://www.wacoyp.org/

What if you try the development version at .../svn/trunk/lib (to see if it's been fixed already)?

If that doesn't solve the problem, use http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/lib/src/IE8.js instead. That file is unpacked and should give more decent debug possibilities.

I have the exact same error. Any resolution?

You're using the development version? If not, try it to see if it works better.

If you already tried the development version, try the unpacked variant (see below) and post the error message you get.

I'm using this:
<script src="http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/version/2.0(beta3)/
IE8.js" type="text/javascript"></script>

and get this error in IE7:

Try:

<script src="http://ie7-js.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/lib/IE8.js" type="text/javascript"></
script>

instead, which is the development version. Does it work any better?

I was getting this same error, and I tried the develpment version like
you said, and it seems to be fixed. Thanks!

On a related note, I am wanting to use this in a WordPress theme that
I'm creating for public release. I am thinking that it may not be the
best idea to run from the development version in a case like this. In
fact, is it okay to do a direct link at all for a publicly released
(free) theme?

Thanks for the great tool,
Jon Meek
