This should really go to the IC Robotics googlegroup!

I haven't been able to find one, it's something I've been meaning to buy for a while. You can apparently still build your own but it's significantly more involved than the ATMega programmer I built a few years ago...

Probably worth investing in though, unless anyone's got one lying around...

Do you know if the robotics society has a AVRISP mkII programmer? 
I desperately need to use one tomorrow (i.e. today, Friday 26th) and am hoping you might know if there is one lying around.

Is it not possible to use the Arduino as an ISP or does that only work for specific chips? 

Vic may have a bunch of these so he should ask him. He is Department of Elec so I guess it should be ok..
