Hi Guys,
Back before Christmas I came into your hacker space and demonstrated one of my (eight!) quadcopters, which you all seemed to like. Since then I have built a further two quads and I’m starting to run into dire need of money - so, unfortunately, I have decided to sell one.
I am approaching the Uni robotics club first as I think it’d be a great demonstration of what is going on in robotics at the moment, and it’d be a good tool for software developers to hack at – since it runs on an open source controller. The Quadcopter has been extensively flight tested (with no crashes) and the best bit is that it has a 2-axis camera stabilisation gimbal! Building and flying quad’s has been so fun, and I’ve learnt loads doing so. As a result it seems unfair to profit from the club so I’d be looking to sell for component cost at £355.
This would include everything you need to fly it (frame, camera gimbal, speed controllers, flight controller, wiring, etc), pre-assembled, plus two battery packs. It does, however, exclude the radio transmitter and receiver – I assume the club already has multiple sets lying around. Obviously I’d be happy to help people understand the basics of quadcopters, and the software used to fly them.
If this is something you’d be interested in then let me know.
Regards,
