The COPPA-certified-adult claim, defined at https://informationcard.net/wiki/index.php/Claim_Catalog, indicates whether the subject of the card has been verified to be an adult in a manner meeting the COPPA guidelines.  This is needed for Privo's parent cards and compatible cards.

Thanks,

Denise

Changing the title of this thread to CLAIM VOTE, per Paul’s clarification.  (The voting on this actually started on Friday.)

Axel, I hope that you will now change your vote to +1 since your issues have been addressed.

                                                                Thanks all,

                                                                -- Mike

+1 for approved status (NOT provisional; and I assume all the other +1s were for approved status).

Since I don’t see anyone else doing it, I’m going to have to play the role of ABNF cop.

The claim as proposed has a syntax error per the ABNF we defined at https://informationcard.net/wiki/index.php/Claim_URI_Syntax. To avoid as many interop problems as possible, the ABNF allows only lowercase alpha characters.

Therefore the proposed claim suffix

            COPPA-certified-adult/2008-12

Must be corrected to:

            coppa-certified-adult/2008-12

My vote is +1 if this change is made, -1 if it is not.

See also my next email about the syntax error in the other proposal.

I can live with this change.  Unless any of you who already voted yes explicitly object, we’ll make this change and consider your +1 votes still valid.
