Well, both articles seem to be down on the use (or misuse) of
"slideware." The most popular of these being PowerPoint by Microsoft.

I actually really liked this article. I think that when making a
PowerPoint presentation it is extremely important to remember who your

In response to the "Power Point is Evil" article, I have to say that
the writer brings up many valid points against the program. I do feel
that Power point can be a very useful tool in the classroom and for

I think this article has some good pieces of information, but also
exaggerated what is happening. I was surprised to see that an average
elementary school slide had more words on it than one in a business

The points made in PowerPoint is Evil did not surprise me. Throughout
my undergrad experience I was constantly hearing the negative aspects
to PowerPoint. I do agree that many people do misuse it and create
slides that are too wordy. Businessmen and teachers need to be taught
