Most of the engines in ibus shows word suggestions or predictions.
It would be a good idea to have global switch to turn it on/off.
Each engine will use its own libraries to implement predictive text.
In this way users will get consistent user experience.
I would like know, is it possible to implement this feature?

Sorry I don't understand quite well. Currently ibus framework does not
provide predictions and suggestions features. Those features are
implemented by engines themselves. So I don't understand what's your
suggestion.

Yes, each engine shows the suggestions, what if i want to turn suggestions
on/off?
Can we add an option in ibus itself to turn suggestions on/off?
I think it should be implemented in each engines instead of ibus framework.
Because some engines (Japanese, Chinese and etc) have to use suggestions or
predictions. It does not make sense to have a global setting for all
engines.
