Subject: Dan's Diagnosis

I talked to Dan at 4:pm today. Praise the Lord, he is feeling  a lot better.  The doctor walked in an hour before the tube/biopsy procedure on his lungs was scheduled and told him it had been canceled because they had a diagnosis of his problem!  Besides pneumonia they said he tested positive for H1N1 or swine flu. He asked the doctor how his white blood cell count was doing, and the doctor asked him how he was feeling, and Dan told him he felt a lot better.  The doctor told him he looked like a different person.  Dan said he is not "out of the woods yet" but is definitely improving. The tests were negative for TB.  He said the medication he is on is very powerful, but the nurse told him it will be "pumped up" now, to treat both problems.  

 

Although Dan is seriously ill, I praise the Lord that he is in the hospital and being treated and he is feeling a lot better.  Our prayers were heard by our faithful, loving Lord. Thanks to all of you who prayed for him and for those of you who wrote to let me know. That was an encouragement to me.
