Hello Rahul,

Thanks for your help....

First, did the installation using version 2.6. Installed without problems but when trying to use the message "ImportError: DLL Load failed." I removed the installation and downloaded the sources, compiled it, but the same error appeared.

Any idea about this problem?

This problem may arise if "db2cli.dll" is not available in your "PATH"
environment variable.
Update your "PATH" env. variable with "..\path\to\IBM DATA SERVER
DRIVER\bin"(for DSDriver) or "..\path\to\sqllib\bin"(for DB2 installed
locally).

If problem still exists then please send us the pop-up error message
which you are getting at the time of importing ibm_db.

This problem may arise if "db2cli.dll" is not available in your "PATH"

Did you check the PATH environment variable, please do "echo %PATH%"
on command prompt and verify that "..\path\to\IBM DATA SERVER
DRIVER\bin" or "..\path\to\sqllib\bin" available or not.

If any of the above path available in the PATH env. variable then let
me know about the availability of "db2cli.dll".

Also provide us the db2level.

Thanks,

Yes, I checked the path environment variable. They are presententes as can be seen in the image problem_import_2.png. I have attached also the image of db2level.
Thank you for your help.

I have uploaded the python-2.7.x compatible binary of ibm_db driver
for win32 at http://pypi.python.org/pypi/ibm_db/.

Please download this binary and install it through easy_install.

Before installing it remove any older ibm_db driver from python's
global path by issuing "easy_install -m ibm_db>0", and then remove any
obsolete ibm_db-x.x.x-win32.egg from site-packages.

If problem still exists then please let me know.

Thanks,
