Hi All,

Good news.

When the IBM 1130 I worked with was turned off in 1979, I kept the
microfilms which contain the source codes of the system. After so many
years I found them.

I have the complete sets of:
System loader, DUP, Fortran Compilre (alas, not the EMU), Supervisor, Core
Load Builder, Resident Monitor, RPG Compiler, Macro Assembler, STD Arith,
Extended Arith, Misc Utils and more.

I would be pleased to ship the microfilms to someone that wants to scan
them and extract the source.

Best,
Mickey

I note yours is V2M10. I believe the final release was V2M12

Thanks for this Mickey.

Here's what would be most helpful - On the top of each deck group is the banner you show in the image you attached.

We would need to know what the contents are of each section if you can indicate those here.

Also - my scanner is now in need of repair (working on that separately). So I'm working with a 3rd party to see if they can handle the format in which these particular fiche are rendered. If they can handle it for me, it would be more time efficient to have them do it and I can simply pay them to do the appropriate scanning. Since this will be "out of pocket" for me, (and as John points out) I want to make sure I'm not going to have any duplicate or outdated scans unless there's something useful we can derive from them.

If we *are* missing something (such as ISAM) we can definitely get that specific section scanned.

The service that I'm evaluating is working out the logistics of processing this format of fiche - so we have time before I will want to submit the batch.

Regards,
Steve

I don't think ISAM was written by IBM. I do know it was an add-on for the DNA and Michigan Fortran compilers.

Thanks Eddy,

I didn't want to make an assumption (not knowing the entire content of what fische Mickey has) ... but I'm sure he can scan through the contents to see what's there ...

I'm hopeful that he has more than just that version of DM V2M10.
