To activate the edit mode of a portlet i have added the entires
required to that portlet in portlet.xml.But once deployed the
Personalise link for that portlet is not coming .Can any one pls help
urgently

With which user you are login to portal?
if login with admin, you should see personalize link, but if login
with normal user, he/she should have Privileged User role.
