Dear subscribers,
Thank you for your support.
----- Invitations needed during HK Autism Week -----
I am glad to be coming to Hong Kong again to share during Autism Week.
However, I still have much free time available and I hope to share at
more places with more people.
If you know someone who might be keen to invite me, or to meet me,
please help to introduce me. I am not sure when I will be back to
share again and I want to make the most of my time.
My latest schedule can be found at:

- (Chinese) http://www.autism.hk/eric-chen.htm
I have been working hard to prepare for the upcoming sharings. Part of
what I must do is to polish and re-translate my autism PowerPoint
slides. My friend "Firefly" has been very helpful in correcting errors
in the Chinese slides. I am glad that I have some people willing to
volunteer to support my work.
----- Autism & Self Improvement Book -----
About a month after the printing of this book, I have got much
positive feedback on it. I am glad that it is more readable and
popular than my first book Mirror Mind.
Buyers include the National Autistic Society of UK, the Autism Clinic
in Singapore and Book in Hand in Australia. Despite such encouraging
responses, I estimate that I still need to sell at least a hundred
more books to break even. I am doing my best to find a publisher to
take my book so that I can focus on writing, not distribution and
marketing.
----- Sponsor for Autism Booklet -----
I have printed a few hundred copies of my free Parents' Guide to
Autism in English at my expense in Hong Kong. However, the Association
of Workers Serving the Mentally Handicapped has kindly sponsored the
printing of some Traditional Chinese booklets.
----- Chinese Translation of the iautistic website -----
The translation of the website has been pushed back indefinitely. I
simply could not find time to commit at least 2 weeks to do it.
However, I have updated the Autistic Fools blog and its Chinese
translations (which are edited with the help of "Firefly"). This
includes setting up a mirror so that Chinese readers can also read my
postings.
