Assalamo Alykum,
This has been announced a couple of times and the activity has been going on
for a month now. I am sending this anyway as they might be others who are
not aware of this very rewarding activity.
The IAR Sports & Recreation Committee now runs an early morning workout
session, directly after Fajr prayer, every week, Monday through Friday for
Brothers, Youth and older kids.
Each class will last for a minimum of 30 minutes to a maximum of 45 minutes.
Sessions are safe and designed to meet the need and the desire of
individuals at all levels. This means that whether you are a complete newbie
to sports and out-of-shape, or an athlete, and REGARDLESS of your age, you
will insha Allah benefit from these early morning Workouts.
*What to bring:* Wear warm-ups (with long pans) and a pair of running
sneakers when you plan to join us. A small (sweat) towel is also
recommended.
So please come for your Fajr prayer and have a good workout afterward. Early
workouts have been proven to be the most effective way to loose weight and
get fit.
