A brief history of this tourney:

"In 2006, this tourney was full of joy. We had about 6 or so kids
participating and they brought lot of joy to the whole group. The youngest
kid ended up catching the biggest fish. And the oldest brother ended up
catching the biggest snapper.
In 2007 however, we have attempted to do the same thing but people in
general were not interested for some reason. Not sure why.
This year though, I have personally been approached by many brothers
expressing their genuine interest in having this fishing trip. So let's make
it happen insha Allah."

So here our official announcement:

The IAR Sports & Recreation Committee is organizing a deep Sea Fishing
tourney 2008. Registration will start this weekend and the trip is scheduled
to be on Sunday June 15th 2008. Kids of 9 years of age and up are encouraged
to participate.  Flier will be posted this weekend insha Allah.

Some pertaining info:
*Team formation: *Team may have up to 12 people but no less than 10.
However, once the registration ends, we can always re-form the teams.

The entry fee* per adult is $110.00 and $90.00 per kid.
*
Registration ends* on Monday June 9th.
*
Awards:* Fishing categories will be defined and awards including restaurant
gift certificates will be given to the winners of each category.
*
How to register:* Contact the event coordinator Brother Yassine Bounagui at
yassinebouna...@yahoo.com or (919) 612-5125. If no reply, reply directly to
this email or see me or Br. Mohamed Boutrid at the Mosque. Basically, you
can simply submit a list of your team members along with the fee.

So if you are interested, register now as the space is limited and the
registration may end sooner than scheduled.
