That sounds correct, but I'll post them here too just incase...
Suggested IADS Client Workstation specifications:
Dual Core Intel (Core2 or Xeon) CPU 2.4 Ghz or Higher
Frontside bus of 800MHz or Higher
2 GigaByte RAM appropriate to FSB speed
100 Mbit Ethernet or Higher
Windows XP Pro
nVidia GeForce 6xxx+ or nVidia Quadro 3xxx Video (PCI Express16)
Suggested IADS Caching Data Server (CDS) specifications:
<500k sample per second aggregate
Dual Core Intel (Core2 or Xeon) CPU 2.4 Ghz or Higher
Frontside bus of 800MHz or Higher
2 GigaByte RAM
1 Gbit Ethernet (data source access/client data distribution)
Ultra 160 SCSI or SAS w/ high performance SCSI controller
Note - Best Performance dictates that the OS/Swapfile and Data Storage
be performed on
separate physical disks
Windows 2003 Server
NOTE - Lower server requirements are possible on a customer by
customer basis with the
understanding that processing may be lower then published specs.
500k+ sample per second aggregate
2x to 4x Dual Core Intel (Core2 or Xeon) CPU 2.4 Ghz or Higher
Frontside bus of 1.3GHz or Higher
4 GigaByte RAM
100 Mbit Ethernet (data source access/client data distribution)/
GigaBit Ethernet for 20+ clients
NOTE - it is prefered to isolate data source link from data
distribution link by using multiple ethernet interfaced to prevent
contention.
Ultra 160/320 SCSI or SAS w/ hardware caching RAID SCSI controller
(please consult for RAID layout information)
Note - The OS/Swapfile and Data Storage be on separate physical disks
Windows 2003 Server
Suggested Network Switch specifications:
Fast Ethernet or greater
NOTE - Be cognizant of the appropriate number of ports to correspond
to the number of clients
with the appropriate speed specification. The switch should have a
greater bandwidth
capacity then the sum of the max theoretical capacity of each port.
Suggested IADS Operator's Console specifications:
Typically the same as a Client workstation so that it can also be used
as central point
for use in troubleshooting/application management.
