Subject: Strip chart
Hi,
Do you know why, if I impose a limit and a scale in the data display
called “strip chart”, after saving the config file, I lose the setting
when I open it again?
If you know about the problem, do you have a solution?

Actually, it sounds like your config file is "read only" and the save is
failing.

Are you using the PostTestDataServer or "local mode"?

Local Mode, but I'm sure that I save the config file (because I change some other displays)

Yes, this sounds like something more sinister ;)

Hmmm... Ok, I think I can explain the scale changing. Maybe the display is
set to "Dynamic Scaling"? If so, it would rescale based on the current
parameter data. Put your cursor in the StripChart  and "right
click->Display->Dynamic Scaling". Is that optioning active (checked)?

If the Dynamic Scaling isn't active, there must be some bug that we've never
seen before. We might have to get a copy of that AnalysisWindow.

I just thought of an experiment: Delete that "bad" stripChart and then
redrop a new one. Set it up exactly as the original stripchart. Does it have
the same problems?

Jim
