We got a question from a customer about using the WAV File Out add-in
in
the stripchart toolbox.

The customer wants to store a waveform coming from one of our Acra-
ADC
modules into this format.

Are there any known limitations with regards maybe to sampling
frequency, or file size, or anything else you can think of?

Perhaps.... The problem is that a normal PCM Wav file has a distinct range
of audio sampling frequencies, and after this point (or before) the
Microsoft digital to analog conversion may fail.

I know that it will up/down sample to the specific DACs range of sampling
frequencies, but I'm not sure what the tolerance range. It may fail at some
point (thus you'll get no audio).

The file size (as in all 1st gen AVI files) is limited to 2Gigs. Anything
over that limit will fail to play in media player,
Jim
