Hi,
I'm trying to use the IADS Dial Input object on one of my Analysis
Windows, and I want to values to go from 95 to 105 in increments of
5. I have saved my desktop, and exported both my Analysis Window and
Desktop. However, every time IADS is re-started (or when I import my
analysis window/desktop) the "Min" value is reset to 0.
What do I need to do to get the IADS Dial Input object to retain the
"Min" value that I provided?

Hi Jeff,

I just tried both of these scenerios and I'm not having any problems. I also
check the source backup and it looks like the min/max properties have been
saving/loading since the control's creation 3+ years ago....

My only good guess right now is that perhaps you have a parameter attached
to the "Min" property? Open up the properties sheet for the dial object and
see if there's a "Fx" next to the property... and if so, do you see a
parameter name in the cell? If not, the only thing I can suggest is for you
to try to replicate this problem on a "test" window (no other displays, no
data, etc), then export the analysis window and email it to me.

If you want simply to send me your current .iadsAw file, I could check that
out as well,
Jim

Jim,
I checked all of th properties on the DIal Input object and they are
all setup correctly. However, the problem remains, so I am going to e-
mail you my analysis window.

Thanks for sending the analysis window. I imported it and saw what
you are seeing...it defaults back to 0 for the min. I will post back
here when I find out what is going on.

Jeff,

You've definitely found a bug. I've noted it in our database and we
will try to get it fixed soon. Unfortunately I can't think of a
workaround for your situation right now. Sorry for the inconvenience.
