        蔡英文主席於元旦發表９８年是民進黨令人驚奇的一年，蔡主席於文中表達       開放民進黨與社會力結合，改造民進黨讓在野力量，從基本價值開始到執行策略形成一個以台灣社會為最終利益的團隊，制衡國民黨的執政傲慢。
       
        蔡主席的文章引起諸多的回應，在政論節、在公共論壇上也引起諸多的質疑﹔      民進黨開放社會力量進來，是否包含提名權的參與，民進黨如何找回令人民感動的元素？甚至民進黨的黨名是否可以被討論等等問題。
       
        文章引起回應，不論如何的尖銳，都是好事，至少代表社會還在意蔡主席的動向     ，願意溝通，一旦找到共同的基點，感動與理想，就可以共同出發。
       
        從組織理論來看，蔡主席摸索了七個月，終於看清楚民進黨的核心問題 “缺乏社會力的參與”，用一句組織學的話“自我封閉”。民進黨從1986年成立到2008年，12年的歷史，剛好走了一個組織的循環（life cycle)，從出生、成長、茁壯到老化，出生於1986年，成長於1990年代，茁壯於2000年代，老化於2005年以後，組織老化的四大特質是強烈封閉性格、激烈內鬥、山頭對立      、理念口號化，2008年的民進黨一覽無遺，對內強烈內鬥，不同意見，毫無相互包容的認知，對外獨立是我家的，政治提名權及參與權是吾黨所宗，強烈的排他主義，組織學上說這樣老化的組織在團體中仍有２５％左右的影響力，見諸民進黨政黨支持率如終在２５％上下，倒還滿準的。

        看看那些埋在這２５％影響力中沾沾自喜、精於算計的山頭與天王群，還在想2012年的選戰，真的很符合老化組織的最後領導人特質。

Below is an appeal from a friend.  Please put your eyes on the 2-27 elections and render your spiritual, physical and financial support to the four green candidates.  With the imminent threat of annexation, no freedom-loving Taiwanese can afford to be mere onlookers.

許多人將焦點放在五都或2012大選, 我則認為227立委補選才是目前的重點, 理由如下:

1)      227立委補選4區中3區是國民黨傳統票倉, 在國民黨傳統票倉中打戰, 拿下勝仗代表民進黨開拓票源, 如果連傳統票倉國民黨都輸了, 那代表五都中的台北市都可能戰敗, 台北市如果輸了,2012國民黨要怎麼選 ?

2)      立法院下會期的重頭戲是ECAF, 多了4席民進黨可以拿下經濟委員會召委, 可以監督ECAF的賣台行為

227 打贏了 7 up, 代表民進黨能在艱難選區開出紅盤, 那民進黨還有什麼不可能, 須要擔心五都及2012大選嗎 ? 227 才是目前的重點.

I agree with you. But the soft, gentle, and 'rational' English Tsai of DPP may not agree with you.

In fact, the choosing of the date on Feb. 28 for the movement of "228手護台灣" in 2004 came from my suggestion.

I shall suggest your idea of a fund raising party for the 227 elections to DPP. Last time (3 in 1 election) I suggested the use of "dinner box fund raising party" rather than a series of splendid dishes for the dinner party to DPP. They accepted my suggestion at that time.
