Thought I would Share this accident event with members, it is an area that always need reenforcement.
If you are not a believer in safety glasses (eye protection) this should help make you a believer.
while ripping a piece of wood the blade hit a small knot, usually not a problem but one of the shards broke off and hit me in the face, note it is hard and sharp.
It actually stuck in. Surprise not pain. I had my Safety glasses on  but note if it had been an inch higher and I had not had them on. I would probably have lost the eye.
Always wear eye protection around anything moving or throwing off particles.
Remember to wear closed toe shoes when working around the space.
